What happens if you get scared half to death twice?

Kayak Trip to BC

We're back from our kayaking trip to BC and boy oh boy did we ever get lucky on the weather.  The week before we arrived it was cold and raining, and since we returned the weather there has been, yes, cold and raining.  But while we were there we had beautiful days with the temperature in the mid to high 20's and very little wind.  It was gorgeous.

The trip was great. Kelly and I went with my brother Gord and his son and were joined by Rosemary, a law professor from Australia.  If you are ever looking for a guided trip I highly recommend the company we booked through, North Island Kayaking.  Our guide was terrific, the food was excellent, and they supply practically everything you will need.  We did 50 km over four days around the Johnstone Strait and the Broughton Archipelago.  We saw lots of wildlife including sea lions, porpoises, seals, mink, eagles, herons but no orca or bears.  Too bad about the orca, we were a little early for them.  I posted a few pictures from the trip here.

After the kayaking we stopped in at Kelly's aunt's place on Gabriola.  Love it there, need to move…  On the island we met Pat, a tour operator there who runs kayak trips in Baja.  Now that sounds very interesting, eh?  Anyone wanna go?
